The Ukrainian army carried out a massive attack on Friday evening, launching nearly 600 drones against Russian territory, with a missile hitting an industrial area in the Samara region, 850 kilometers southeast of Moscow.

Explosions occurred at a Russian military airbase where MiG-31 aircraft are stationed, capable of launching Kinjal ballistic missiles. On the same night, Russia retaliated with approximately 200 drones, attacking 16 areas in Ukraine. Following the Ukrainian attack, fires were observed at the Savasleika airbase, and in Samara, injuries among civilians were reported, including a 9-year-old boy.

Russian authorities stated that air defense systems shot down 598 Ukrainian drones, while estimates suggest that the attacks in July resulted in the deaths of 201 civilians in Russia and in regions occupied by Moscow.
