41 miners are trapped following an explosion in the Luhansk region, controlled by Russia

Ukraine struck the Biloricenska coal mine in the Luhansk region, controlled by Russia, damaging an electrical substation and leaving 41 miners trapped underground, a Russian-installed official said on Monday. "All relevant services are taking measures to rescue the miners and restore the electricity supply to the mine," said Leonid Pasecinik, the Moscow-appointed head of the region.
