The three Baltic states, Estonia, Latvia, and Lithuania, are intensifying preparations for the evacuation of hundreds of thousands of people in the event of a Russian aggression. This comes in the context of increasing military spending by Russia and fears related to cyberattacks and disinformation. The plans focus on evacuating residents from areas close to the borders with Russia and Belarus, with the aim of ensuring temporary shelters and evacuation routes. Estimates suggest that up to 400,000 people could be affected, and emergency measures include preparing collection points and storing supplies.
