South Korea has announced the introduction of a basic unlimited internet subscription for citizens, according to information provided by Nexta. This initiative will allow users to benefit from a constant internet connection, even after exhausting the basic package, maintaining a speed of 400 kbit/s.

This speed is considered sufficient for activities such as messaging, accessing government services, and browsing simple websites. The program will target a population of over 7 million people, and the economic operators have agreed to the proposal of the authorities.

In addition, for elderly users, traffic limits will be adjusted to provide them with greater access to internet services. This measure is part of South Korea's efforts to improve internet access and support citizens in using digital technology.
