On Wednesday morning, Kharkiv was attacked by Russian forces, which struck a private kindergarten in the Kholodnohirsk district, causing a fire. Mayor Ihor Terehov and the head of the Regional Military Administration, Oleh Sinehubov, reported at least three explosions in the area. Although no injuries were recorded among the children, one adult was killed and six others were injured. According to preliminary data, Russia allegedly used Shahed drones for the attack.
The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelensky, condemned the attack, emphasizing that there is no justification for such an act and that Russia is becoming increasingly defiant. He mentioned that many children evacuated from the kindergarten are showing acute stress reactions and stated that such actions can only be countered by force.
