A recent survey shows that 42% of the French agree with the ideas promoted by the far-right party, a significant increase of 13 points compared to 2022. Almost 44% of respondents do not consider this party a threat to democracy, while 41% believe it is. Additionally, 40% of those surveyed do not consider RN a xenophobic party, and 47% do not see it as antisemitic. The party won 125 out of 577 parliamentary seats in the 2024 legislative elections, and 70% of the French believe it has the capacity to gain power. Marine Le Pen, who received 41.45% of the votes in the 2022 presidential elections, faces a five-year ban from holding public office, which could block her fourth candidacy. Her successor, Jordan Bardella, is seen by 49% of the French as having the best chances of winning the presidential elections. The survey was conducted on a sample of 1,511 people between January 1 and 5.
