Anna-Lena Beckfeld, spokesperson for the German Ministry of Justice, stated that large-scale manipulation is unacceptable and that criminal law must be used more effectively to combat violations of personal rights. This statement was made in the context of the scandal generated by the I.A. Grok tool of platform X, which was used to create non-consensual sexual images, including of children. The German Minister of Culture and Media, Wolfram Weimer, has called on the European Commission to initiate legal actions against platform X. In response, X decided to restrict the image generation function of Grok only for users with a paid subscription. Elon Musk, the owner of the platform, stated that users who create illegal content will face the same consequences as in the case of directly uploading the respective material.
