Drone attack in the Moscow region: Fire at the tire factory in the city of Chekhov

On the night of July 28, residents of the Moscow region reported explosions, and the mayor of the capital announced that 81 drones heading towards the city were destroyed just as they approached the capital of Russia.

The governor of the region confirmed that a drone hit a residential building on Zemskaia Street in the neighboring city of Chekhov, causing damage.

Additionally, a fire broke out at the OOO 'ChRZ' plant, which specializes in tire recycling, where stored tires caught fire. Emergency services intervened to extinguish the fire.

The plant is one of the largest producers in Russia in the field of tire recycling, manufacturing over 600 types of rubber technical articles. Near the affected plant is also ZAO 'Ghidrostalkonstruktiia', which produces equipment for the energy sector.
