According to data from the National Institute of Statistics (INS), the turnover in wholesale trade, excluding trade in motor vehicles and motorcycles, increased by 1.6% in the first 11 months of 2025 compared to the same period in 2024. This increase is mainly due to the advance in trade with other machines and equipment (+10.2%) and intermediation activities (+9.4%). However, decreases were recorded in the trade of raw agricultural products (-3.7%) and food products (-2.4%). In November 2025, turnover decreased by 3.2% compared to the previous month, but increased by 1.5% compared to November 2024, due to increases in certain sectors. Adjusted for seasonality, turnover increased by 1.2% in the first 11 months and by 0.9% in November.
