At the end of August 2025, the National Bank of Romania reported foreign exchange reserves of 65.188 million euros, an increase from 63.225 million euros in July. This increase was supported by inflows of 3.336 million euros, while outflows were 1.373 million euros. The gold reserve remained constant at 103.6 tons, with a value of 9.726 million euros. Total international reserves increased to 74.915 million euros, and the payments due in September 2025 for public debt in foreign currency amount to approximately 902 million euros.
