Traffic on DN 1, in the resort of Bușteni on the Prahova Valley, was blocked on Sunday afternoon due to floods that brought logs, stones, and sand from the slopes, following a torrential rain. According to the Prahova Police, traffic has resumed in both directions and is now proceeding under normal conditions.

UPDATE 20:00: The INFOTRAFIC Center of the Romanian General Police Inspectorate reported that traffic on DN 1 has also resumed in the Brașov - Ploiești direction, within the resort of Bușteni, Prahova County, after clearing the roadway of debris.

Initially, authorities reported that traffic on DN 1 had resumed only in the Bucharest - Brașov direction, while the direction towards Ploiești was impassable.

Police recommend drivers to drive cautiously, to adjust their speed to traffic conditions, and to follow the instructions of traffic agents to ensure safety on the roads.
