On Friday, October 17, traffic will open on section 2 of the A7 Ploiești-Buzău Highway, but only in the direction of Bucharest. The Pro Infrastructura Association criticized this situation, emphasizing that drivers coming from Ploiești will have to exit the highway and travel through localities, which contradicts the purpose of avoiding urban congestion. Representatives of the association denounced the level of incompetence and negligence of the officials of CNAIR and the Ministry of Transport, stating that the necessary ramp for the complete discharge of traffic was not ensured. They also mentioned that the highway network in Romania has reached 1,353.4 kilometers, with 83.54 kilometers inaugurated in 2025, highlighting the difficulties in developing road infrastructure.
