The General Director of the National Company for Road Infrastructure Administration (CNAIR) announced that on Monday, August 31, at 4:00 PM, traffic will open on the 47.10 kilometers of highway between Adjud and Bacău Sud.
He stated, in a message on Facebook, that he visited the construction site, where the Romanian contractor UMB is finalizing the last details before the opening. After the opening of the section, the road from Bucharest will initially reach the VO Bacău road junction, which connects to DN2F towards Vaslui. In the following period, traffic will be extended to the Bacău Nord Road Junction, adding another 4 km. Pistol explained that this phasing was chosen to ensure that each kilometer is "complete" and "safe" before opening.
With this sector, there will be traffic on 241.62 km out of a total of 319 km of A7 (Ploiești - Pașcani), a project funded through PNRR, providing Moldova with economic development prospects, according to him.
