In this context, the public administration is considering the construction of a new bridge, but until then, it will build a temporary pontoon bridge to ensure road traffic. The President of the County Council, Adrian-Ioan Vețea, has evaluated options for a direct road connection between Hărman and Podu Oltului, to avoid detours of tens of kilometers. A team of specialists has conducted measurements to determine the location of the temporary bridge, which will allow vehicles weighing up to 3.5 tons to pass. The works for the new bridge are estimated at 22 million lei and will take approximately 14 months. The construction permit has already been issued, and the County Council will soon receive the technical proposal and the cost estimate for the temporary bridge.
