The works on A0 North, lot 1 (Joița-Corbeanca), have reached a physical stage of 63%

The general director of CNAIR, Cristian Pistol, announced that the physical progress of the works on A0 North, lot 1 (Joița-Corbeanca), has reached 63%. The construction association Retter-Pizzarotti is working intensively on the 17.5 km of the lot, with 650 workers and 330 machines.

The works include laying asphalt, installing metal guardrails, sound-absorbing panels, as well as relocating natural gas pipelines. At the junction with DN1A, asphalt works and ditches for rainwater drainage are being executed. Additionally, work is ongoing on the two important bridges along the route, and maintaining the current pace could allow for the opening of traffic ahead of the contractual deadline in April 2027.

The value of the contract is 815.07 million lei, funded through the Transport Program 2021-2027. The Capital's Ring Road is crucial for the economic development of the Bucharest - Ilfov region.
