Romania is the second largest producer of bicycles in the EU, but has the lowest bicycle use, with only 0.3% of urban distances covered by bike.

This paradox is especially evident in Bucharest, where residents lose more than 100 hours in traffic in a year. However, solutions exist, but they require a dialog between authorities, developers and civil society, which is currently suffocated by car horns.
