The Minister of Energy, Bogdan Ivan, will participate on Monday in the Government Hour in the plenary session of the Chamber of Deputies, at the request of USR, to provide details about the measures implemented by the Ministry of Energy and Hidroelectrica regarding the drinking water crisis in Argeș County. Tens of thousands of residents in Curtea de Argeș and surrounding areas have been facing a lack of drinking water for three months, and USR is demanding concrete solutions to resolve the issue.

Diana Stoica, the leader of the USR deputies, emphasized that it is unacceptable for people to be forced to carry water with buckets and bottles without clear information about when the situation will normalize. Hidroelectrica, responsible for managing the Vidraru dam, and Aquaterm SA, the water operator, are involved in managing this crisis. Minister Ivan had previously requested to postpone his presence in Parliament, but he will now provide explanations about the actions taken to prevent and resolve this situation.
