The team behind the documentary "Gaza: Doctors Under Attack", which was "shelved" by the BBC for reasons of impartiality, won a BAFTA award at the ceremony on Sunday. Reporter Ramita Navai and executive producer Ben De Pear used their acceptance speech to criticize Israel and the BBC. Navai highlighted that Israel has killed over 47,000 children and women in Gaza and has attacked all hospitals in the region, killing over 1,700 Palestinian doctors. De Pear dedicated the award to the journalists who made the film, mentioning that over 250 of their colleagues have been killed during the conflict. In the end, he posed a direct question to the BBC, asking whether they would exclude the team from broadcasting the BAFTA awards, considering that the film was abandoned. The ceremony took place at the Royal Festival Hall in London, with Netflix and Disney+ having the most nominations.
