In a joint statement, UN experts on human rights warned that since the ceasefire between the Israeli army and Hamas came into effect in October 2025, over 1,200 Palestinians have been killed in Gaza, where genocide continues.
Only in July, Israeli forces killed approximately 160 Palestinians, mostly in densely populated areas of displaced persons.
UN experts condemn the attacks on hospitals, shelters, and UN personnel, as well as the abuses committed by armed groups. They also point out that food aid cannot enter Gaza freely, and the available products are nutritionally inadequate.
The statement was signed by Francesca Albanese, the UN Special Rapporteur for the Palestinian territories, and 18 other experts.
