The Bucharest Court of Appeal has decided to lift the judicial control measure for Sebastan Ioan Hotca, interim head of ANPC, and Paul Anghel, general director, accused of abuse of office and blackmail. The decision is final and allows the two to return to their positions. Hotca and Anghel were involved in scandals related to illegal relocations within ANPC, and the preventive measures had been previously maintained. Now, they must comply with other legal obligations, but they can resume their activities in the institution.
