The Minister of Environment, Diana Buzoianu, stated that the implementation of the Rabla program in 2026 depends on the budget of the Administration of the Environmental Fund (AFM), which will be debated in Parliament. The ministry's priority is to complete the projects from the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR) transferred to AFM. Buzoianu emphasized that if the budget exceeds two billion lei, more programs, including Rabla, could be included, but the decision will be influenced by the limits of the budget deficit.

Additionally, the ministry intends to launch a new program for water and sewage, considering that many communities in Romania do not have access to these essential services. Buzoianu mentioned that completing the 500 ongoing projects is essential and must be achieved by the end of the year.
