A new session of the Rabla 2026 Program, intended for individuals, begins on Tuesday at 10:00. Applications can be submitted exclusively online, through the platform of the Environmental Fund Administration (AFM), and applicants can receive eco-vouchers worth between 10,000 and 18,500 lei for the purchase of a new vehicle, depending on the type of powertrain.

The budget allocated to this stage exceeds 35 million lei. The program will remain open until the end of the year or until the available funds are exhausted, meaning that support can be requested as long as the financial ceiling has not been used up.

Approximately 12,100 new passenger cars were registered in October, nearly 6% fewer than in the same month of 2025. According to data from the Association of Automobile Manufacturers of Romania, in the first ten months of the year, the new-car market fell by more than 10%, equivalent to more than 12,000 passenger cars.

The only segment experiencing growth is that of electric vehicles, whose registrations increased by nearly 46% between January and October. By contrast, imports of used cars fell by nearly 15% compared with last year.
