The Environment Fund Administration announces new registrations in the 2026 Rabla Auto program, starting from August 25.

The Administration of the Environmental Fund (AFM) announced that starting from August 25, 2026, at 10:00 AM, individuals who have not previously registered in the Rabla Auto 2026 program will have a new opportunity to apply for funding.

The total amount available for new registrations is 93,737,000 lei, coming from previously unused funds. The president of AFM, Florin Bănică, emphasized the importance of this redistribution for renewing the car fleet in Romania, encouraging the purchase of less polluting vehicles.

Of the total amount, 70,312,000 lei will be allocated for vehicles with thermal propulsion, 20,450,000 lei for plug-in hybrid and electric vehicles, and 2,975,000 lei for motorcycles. Registrations will take place until December 31, 2026, or until the funds are exhausted. The available eco-vouchers range between 10,000 lei and 18,500 lei, depending on the type of vehicle purchased.

Applications must be made through the AFM online application, and after obtaining the registration number, applicants have 10 days to complete the necessary information.
