Accident on the A2 Highway, in the Cernica area. One person has died, and five have been transported to the hospital.

A serious road accident occurred on the A2 Highway, in the area of kilometer 16, near the town of Cernica. According to information provided by IPJ Ilfov, 6 people were involved in the event, and as a result of the impact, 5 of them were transported to the hospital for medical care. Unfortunately, the 6th person was declared deceased.

The traffic police have launched an investigation to identify all the individuals involved and to determine the causes of the accident. According to the Romanian Police's Infotrafic Center, the accident was caused by a car leaving the road due to a technical malfunction. Traffic was restricted on the first lane heading towards Constanța, and traffic values increased significantly following the incident.
