Serious accident in Prahova: one young man died, two were injured

A 19-year-old man died and two other young men, including a minor, were injured on Saturday evening after the car they were traveling in skidded and left the road. The accident occurred in the village of Moara, Puchenii Mari commune, Prahova County.

An 18-year-old man was behind the wheel. He and the 19-year-old passenger were trapped following the crash, while the 15-year-old teenager was removed from the car without the intervention of extrication crews.

The 19-year-old man was found unconscious and, despite rescuers’ efforts, was pronounced dead. The driver was seriously injured, intubated, and transported to the Emergency Department of Ploiești County Hospital.

The teenager suffered limb injuries and was also taken to hospital. Police are to establish the exact circumstances in which the accident occurred.
