A serious road accident occurred on Wednesday in Lețcani, Iași County, after a truck overturned onto a car. Two people inside the car were trapped following the impact. One of the victims died, while the other was found unconscious, according to information provided by the Iași Emergency Situations Inspectorate.

Firefighters from the Iași 1 Firefighting Detachment are responding at the scene with a fire engine and a rescue vehicle. A mobile intensive care unit and a crew from the Iași County Ambulance Service have also been dispatched.

A total of nine non-commissioned officers are taking part in the operation. The crews are working to extricate the victims, provide first aid, and implement the specific measures needed to prevent further incidents at the accident scene.
