Serious road accident in the town of Volovăț, Suceava: one person died, while four others were injured, including a minor

Five people, including a child, were injured on Thursday in a road accident that occurred in the town of Volovăț, Suceava County, after two cars collided. One of the adult victims was found unconscious, and medical teams performed resuscitation maneuvers. The victim did not respond to the resuscitation efforts, and the death was subsequently declared.

Military firefighters intervened at the accident scene with two special vehicles equipped for extrication and an SMURD ambulance. The operation was supported by three crews from the Suceava County Ambulance Service.

As a result of the impact, all five people involved required medical care. A minor was among the victims. The conscious individuals were taken over by the medical and paramedic crews, who provided first aid and assessed their condition.

Firefighters intervened to ensure the specific safety measures at the accident scene and, if necessary, to extricate the victims.
