Two people died, and four others were injured in a road accident in Mureș County

Two people died, while four others were injured in a road accident that occurred on Sunday, September 13, in the locality of Gornești, Mureș County, involving two cars. Traffic is stopped on DN 15 Târgu Mureș–Reghin, in the area of the accident.

Military firefighters from the Reghin Detachment were called to intervene and mobilized two emergency vehicles equipped with extrication modules, as well as two SMURD ambulances, one of which was a mobile intensive care unit.

According to ISU Mureș, six victims resulted from the impact. Two people were found trapped and dead upon the arrival of the medical crews. The other four victims, including a minor, are being assessed by doctors, and three of them are in more serious condition.

The Infotraffic Center reports that traffic on DN 15 is completely stopped. Authorities estimate that traffic will resume after 16:30, depending on the progress of the intervention and the investigations conducted at the scene.
