Three people were injured after two cars collided with a truck

A 25-year-old driver caused a serious road accident after overtaking a truck and colliding with a car traveling in the opposite direction. Three people were injured in the impact and taken to hospital.

The recording captures the moment when the young driver’s car crosses into oncoming traffic and hits a car driven by a 72-year-old man. Following the collision, the young driver’s vehicle is thrown in front of the truck.

The truck driver, a 53-year-old Turkish citizen, attempts to avoid another collision but ends up driving the truck off the road.

Police carried out checks at the scene and established that the driver considered responsible had a blood alcohol level of 0.77 milligrams of pure alcohol per liter of exhaled air. A criminal case was opened against him for driving under the influence of alcohol and negligent bodily injury. Investigations are continuing to establish all the circumstances of the accident.
