The National Forest Administration – Romsilva officially reacted to the accusations of the Minister of Environment, Diana Buzoianu, regarding the introduction of an article in the new Collective Labor Agreement that provides for the granting of collective bonuses.
Romsilva explained that it is negotiating with social partners and that article 137 (2) allows for bonuses in exceptional situations, but they do not apply automatically. Additionally, the administration stated that it has not granted individual or collective bonuses in 2023 and that, although bonuses for exceptional results were granted in previous years, they were contested by the Court of Accounts.
Romsilva emphasizes that it has recorded constant profit, contributing annually with approximately 900 million lei to the state budget.
Diana Buzoianu, the interim Minister of Environment, criticized the management of Romsilva for introducing collective bonuses in the new Collective Labor Agreement, despite the recommendations of the Court of Accounts which called for clear and transparent procedures for granting bonuses.
