The Minister of the Environment, Diana Buzoianu, criticizes Romsilva for proposing an organizational chart with more management positions.

The Minister of the Environment, Diana Buzoianu, announced that Romsilva has proposed a central organizational chart that includes several management positions, contrary to expectations of reducing their number.

According to the Government decision regarding the reorganization of the institution, Romsilva is obliged to recreate the organizational chart to streamline its activities. Buzoianu emphasized that this proposal is surprising and suggests that the institution is preparing for a possible return of the PSD to power.

The reorganization of Romsilva aims to abolish the 41 county directorates and create 19 regional structures, as part of a reform assumed through the PNRR. The goal is to optimize forest management and reduce management positions by merging administrative functions and eliminating overlaps.
