The former Minister of Energy, Bogdan Ivan, reacted after Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan accused him of disinformation, asking him to promise that large electricity consumers in Romania do not face the real risk of being left without power.
Ivan emphasized that the notifications received by consumers should only be a formality and called for clarifications to reduce the panic generated by these messages.
Ilie Bolojan's criticisms came in the context in which the former minister Bogdan Ivan published a document showing that, under certain conditions, companies will have to limit their energy consumption. Ivan announced that he would question the Prime Minister to request explanations regarding the measures taken to ensure the stability of the National Energy System, in the context of the energy alert state.
