Romsilva reacted after the analysis of the National Agency for Public Procurement (ANAP), which highlighted 371 procurement procedures without the publication of the participation announcement in 2025.
The agency claims that these purchases represented only 4% of the total value of 692.52 million lei, most of which were determined by "extreme urgency" situations, such as trees downed by wind and floods. Romsilva specified that 82.75% of these purchases were made to limit the effects of disasters. Additionally, the number of these contracts has significantly decreased in the last three years, and the use of the procedure has been restricted by the current general director.
ANAP recommended Romsilva to improve the planning of purchases and internal controls, the report being sent to the Ministry of Environment and other institutions for analysis.
