The Minister of Investments and European Projects, Dragoș Pîslaru, stated that, once the payment request number 4 was approved, Romania's PNRR has exceeded 60% implementation, and the country is no longer at the bottom of the ranking. Romania still has to collect 4.9 billion euros in grants, and the total amount to be obtained from requests 5 and 6 is 10 billion euros gross.

Pîslaru announced that a final renegotiation process of the PNRR has begun, with a deadline of May 31, to ensure the completion of the necessary investment projects for the collection of funds. He emphasized the importance of key reforms and legislative priorities, mentioning that the Government has committed to accelerating these projects, with three normative acts already ready for adoption in Parliament.
