The Bucharest Municipal Thermal Energy Company has announced repair works and remediation of damages on the primary heating network pipes, which will affect dozens of heating points and hundreds of apartment blocks. The interventions are scheduled between November 17 and 21, 2025, and some of them will lead to the interruption of thermal agent supply for thousands of residents. The affected areas include Calea Moșilor, Bd. Corneliu Coposu, Bd. Liviu Rebreanu, Bd. Unirii, Calea Văcărești, and others, with pipes that are up to 57 years old. Termoenergetica warns that the estimated timeframe for resuming operations is tentative, considering the advanced state of degradation of the pipes. Intervention equipment is already on-site to carry out the necessary works.
