Termoenergetica Bucharest Municipal Company announced that work will be carried out on the district heating network in Sectors 4 and 5 of the capital, starting Monday, September 28, 2026, and approximately 1,843 apartment buildings will temporarily be left without hot water, depending on the affected area.

The interventions are necessary to carry out work on the district heating infrastructure. During this period, hot water supply will be suspended for buildings connected to the affected network sections.

Termoenergetica did not specify in the available information the exact duration of the interventions for each area, nor the time at which supply will be resumed. Residents of Sectors 4 and 5 are affected differently, depending on the location of the buildings and the progress of the work.

The company recommends that Bucharest residents check the updated information regarding the affected addresses and the estimated completion deadline. Hot water supply will be resumed in stages, after the interventions have been completed and the necessary technical operations have been carried out. Termoenergetica announces that the work is part of the maintenance and modernization activities for the capital's district heating network.
