Protests in Bucharest continue, organized as a reaction to the Recorder documentary that revealed serious dysfunctions in the Romanian justice system. People are demanding the independence of the judiciary and the resignation of the head of the High Court, Lia Savonea, as well as the current Minister of Internal Affairs, Cătălin Predoiu.

Over 500 magistrates have signed a letter of support for colleagues who have denounced the problems in the system, emphasizing that these are systemic and not isolated. Judge Raluca Moroșanu described the "toxic" atmosphere in the courts, and the president of the Bucharest Court of Appeal has called for an investigation into the allegations. The documentary "Captured Justice" has been described as having testimonies of unprecedented severity, and the CSM has decided to notify the Judicial Inspection to investigate the information presented.
