Victory Square will be the stage for a protest organized by the groups "Resistance", "Romania Initiative" and "MEA Association", on Friday, June 19, between 6 PM and 10 PM.

They urge citizens to take to the streets under the slogan "Romania is under siege", emphasizing the need to defend democracy and the rule of law. The organizers call for mobilization, stating that justice is unequal, and institutions are acting on command. The context of the protest is marked by the recent decisions of the Ilfov Tribunal, which quickly suspended the PNL decisions against the liberals supporting a Veștea Government, as well as the corruption case of Ciprian Ciucu.

Additionally, the High Court declared Dominic Fritz, the president of USR, incompatible, prohibiting him from running until 2030. The protest aims to remind citizens of the importance of involvement in defending democratic values.
