Cosmin Ghiță has announced that he will donate 20% of his salary to the Romanian state to support relevant initiatives in the field of nuclear energy, underlining the importance of responsible leadership. The decision comes after Energy Minister Bogdan Ivan made a similar gesture. Ghiță, who earns 70,000 lei a month, said that nuclear energy is essential for Romania's stability and economic development. The move is part of a wider trend of pay cuts among leaders of state-owned companies.
