The president of ANRE, George Niculescu, announced in Parliament that the institution will reduce 4 positions from the 293 occupied, according to the new organizational chart for 2026. This measure is part of a broader plan to reduce staff by 10% and salaries by 30% for all employees, including management. Niculescu mentioned that the average net salary of employees is 18,635 lei, while his own, at 15,000 euros, will be reduced to 10,500 euros. He emphasized that he did not set this salary and has had a career in which he earned less. He also started discussions with employees to modify the salary scale.
