The Minister of Energy, Bogdan Ivan, stated at the event "Energy for Romania" that Romania is in discussions with the European Commission for the funding of reactors 3 and 4 at Cernavodă, emphasizing that the fear of nuclear energy must be overcome. He highlighted the importance of ensuring affordable access to energy for all Romanians and mentioned that nuclear and hydroelectric projects are essential for strengthening the country's energy independence. The event, organized by Electrica, also promoted the donation of solar lamps to children in disadvantaged communities.
