The leadership of ANRE plans to rehire two former PSD parliamentarians, Iulian Iancu and Gheorghe Marin, as part-time experts, despite objections from the Legal Directorate which considers these hires illegal. The main reason is that the hires do not comply with ANRE's internal regulations, which do not allow part-time positions.

Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan criticized these measures, considering them a form of deception, in the context of a restructuring imposed by Law 145/2025, which provides for a reduction in the number of positions. Although ANRE has an average salary of 3,700 euros net, President George Niculescu earns approximately 15,000 euros net per month. Bolojan emphasized that reforms must have real effects and not just be a simulation.
