At a recent forum organized by NATO in Bucharest, the leader of NATO Command announced that 70 defense companies are ready to deliver new drone and anti-drone systems for member states. NATO presented 10 innovative solutions, including a system developed by a Romanian company. Admiral Pierre Vandier emphasized the importance of rapid innovation in the context of emerging threats, such as cheap drones, which have become a challenge on the battlefield. NATO collaborates with the industry to adapt existing technologies and develop effective solutions, highlighting that the lifespan of drone software in conflicts is extremely short. Among the systems presented are Ejderha, Falcon Shield, and MBDA Defend Air, each having unique features for combating drones.
