A new road will connect the A0 Highway to Terminal 2 of Henri Coandă Airport, reducing the travel time from 20 to 2 minutes.

At the entrance to Bucharest, an ambitious project will significantly reduce the travel time between the Bucharest A0 Highway and the future Terminal 2 of Henri Coandă Airport. State Secretary Ionel Scrioșteanu announced that 15 bids have been submitted for the construction of this road, a record for such tenders.

The project will shorten a route of approximately 20 km to just 2.5 km, reducing the time from 20 minutes to just 2 minutes. The road will have a length of 2.55 km, including two overpasses and a cloverleaf interchange. The duration of the project is estimated at 30 months, and the investment value exceeds 400 million lei. This infrastructure will facilitate access for residents of Tunari, Dimieni, and Balotești to the A0, significantly improving traffic in the area.
