The Romanian Gendarmerie is organizing an exercise in Romania with more than 500 soldiers and gendarmes from 19 countries

One of the largest interoperability exercises organized in Europe began Sunday in Romania, with the participation of more than 500 soldiers and gendarmes from 19 countries across three continents. The exercise is being organized by the Romanian Gendarmerie at the Ochiuri Gendarmerie Training Center in Dâmbovița County to train cooperation among the participating structures.

From September 27 to October 2, several training activities will take place in Dâmbovița, Prahova, Argeș and Ilfov counties. The program includes tactical simulations, troop movements and exercises designed to test coordination and intervention capabilities in complex situations.

According to the organizers, drones and helicopters may be used during the training sessions. The Romanian Gendarmerie stated that all activities are planned and controlled and that there is no real danger to the public. The institution urged people not to panic, explaining that any movements of personnel and technical equipment are exclusively part of the training exercise.
