On August 26, 2026, during the appeal against her own ruling, Alexe attempted to plead in favor of her solution, despite not having standing in the case. The court panel intervened, requesting order to be maintained, and the judge was removed from the room with the help of gendarmes.

The incident led to a request for the recusal of the judges in the panel, citing a lack of impartiality.
