Judge Ionela Tudor, famous for the episode "Lia called me", returns to the judiciary, now working at the Ilfov Tribunal, according to Agerpres. Previously, she was the vice president of the Bucharest Court of Appeal and head of the 10th Section of administrative litigation.

Although she retired on February 15, by decree signed by President Nicușor Dan, after five months she requested to return to the Superior Council of Magistracy (CSM), and her request was accepted. According to Law 303/2022, judges who return receive a 15% bonus from their service pension.

Ionela Tudor has resolved notable cases, including the suspension of the analysis of the doctoral thesis of former Prime Minister Nicolae Ciucă, accused of plagiarism. Her famous statement occurred during a press conference when she abruptly left the podium to talk on the phone.
