A 22-year-old Irishman was stabbed by a 25-year-old friend in Bucharest

A violent incident took place in Bucharest, where a 22-year-old Irishman was stabbed by a 25-year-old friend in his apartment. The conflict erupted spontaneously after the victim made a joke, and the suspect, waking up scared, attacked him with a knife.

The victim later presented himself at a pharmacy in Sector 5, where the police were alerted. The man was transported to the hospital for medical care. Authorities have opened an investigation, and the suspect has been detained for 24 hours, being proposed for preventive arrest for a period of 30 days. The investigations are being conducted by the Prosecutor's Office attached to the Bucharest Tribunal, in collaboration with the police officers from the Homicide Service.
