Teenager detained after assaulting a young man with a sharp object in Galați

According to IPJ Galați, the police of Section 3 were notified via a 112 call, around 8:17 PM, about a man who was physically assaulted. From the initial investigations, it emerged that, on the background of a spontaneous conflict, the teenager attacked a 23-year-old man with a cutting object, causing him multiple wounds.

The victim received medical care at the scene and was later transported to the hospital for specialized treatment. The 15-year-old teenager was detained for 24 hours and is being investigated for the crimes of assault or other violence and disturbing public order and peace. He will be presented to the prosecutor's office and the court with a proposal for preventive measures.

Investigations continue under the coordination of the case prosecutor to establish all the circumstances of the incident.
