A 14-year-old student was beaten and threatened with death by a classmate. The police issued a provisional protection order

A 14-year-old student was physically assaulted and threatened with death by a classmate inside an educational institution in the municipality of Târgoviște. The incident allegedly took place on October 19, amid disagreements, and the case was reported to police the following day.

Police officers from the Târgoviște Municipal Police were alerted via 112 on October 20, around 12:30 p.m., by the victim’s mother. According to the investigation, the alleged aggressor is a 15-year-old student.

After the risk assessment form was completed, the authorities determined that there was an imminent danger to the victim’s life, physical integrity or freedom. Police issued a provisional protection order requiring the accused teenager to keep at least two meters away from the victim and prohibiting him from contacting her, either directly or by telephone or correspondence.

A criminal case was opened in this matter for assault or other acts of violence and threats. The investigation is continuing to establish all the circumstances.
